This native California artist has been involved in creating art since very early

childhood. Her work has evolved through a joyful journey of self discovery; unencumbered by limitations she might have felt had she experienced formal training in drawing and painting.

Although she distanced herself from it, for a long period of time, while totally immersed in the physical and creative aspects of the dance world, she chose to return to her love of drawing and painting in the late 1990’s.

She focuses, primarily, on portraiture and figurative studies. The beauty of the human face has always been a source of fascination, and inspiration, for her.

Her award winning watercolors and drawings reflect the infinite variety humanity has to offer. Each work captures a moment in time, real or imagined, that she lovingly shares for the pleasure of the viewers.

Since 2000, her work has been shown in more than 475 National, International

and Regional juried exhibitions, held in museums and galleries, throughout 43 states. Continued acceptance has earned her status of Signature/Elected Membership in more than 35 distinguished art societies, including the American Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society, Transparent Watercolor Society of America and Watercolor West.
